Wild 0.11 has been released — the latest feature update to this very fast linker, currently focused on Linux systems and built around iterative development.

One of the headline changes is support for linking WebAssembly (WASM) by default. The capability is now available out of the box, with no extra configuration required.

Support for GNU linker scripts has also been significantly expanded. That proved enough to let Wild link Linux kernel modules, and the developers are now close to linking the Linux kernel itself.

Linux remains the primary target for Wild, but the macOS port keeps making progress. It is not yet enabled by default, though it continues to improve.

Beyond the new functionality, Wild 0.11 brings further performance fixes and other enhancements. Downloads and the full list of improvements are available on GitHub.
