New York's "Click to Cancel" rule takes effect

New York Will Require Age Verification for Algorithmic Social Media Feeds
To see an Instagram or TikTok feed curated by an algorithm, or to get notifications after midnight, residents of the state will have to verify their age. The SAFE for Kids Act takes effect on January 25, 2027.
